The Cornwall Architectural Trust is a registered charity whose objective is to advance the art, science and understanding of architecture.
Its activities include its annual lecture and, jointly with the Exeter and Plymouth Architectural Trusts, it makes awards of student scholarships and prizes.

The Trust is delighted to welcome architect Ken Shuttleworth as Guest Speaker for its 2010 Annual Lecture.
The lecture, now in its 27th year and attended by leading figures in design, procurement and construction industries is to take place in Truro College’s Fal Lecture Theatre on 12th November 2010.
Ken Shuttleworth is a former partner at Foster and Partners and has been notable for his involvement in numerous iconic projects including the Millennium Bridge and the “Gherkin” tower. In 2003 he founded MAKE Architects and serves on the government’s Commission for Architecture and the Built Environment.
The lecture is organised jointly with the RIBA and is sponsored by Kier Western.
